Finally I got my Tv, HTPC & Sound system working. Considering the amount of travelling that I do I miss all my favourite shows on TV. I have been thinking about what I should do to solve this problem.
The solution was to get a proper TV to view HD content and hook it up to a HTPC. I chose the Samsung LE-46A656 partly because of the spec's but not least for the design. The TV looks as good turned of as it does turned on.
Then all i had to do has to configure mythtv on a Ubuntu base. Now i have tried several distributions of linux but I really liked the mythbuntu. It worked out of the box without to much tweaking.
Next step will of curse be to clean up a bit and hide all cables and stuff.
And tonight I'm going to watch a few recorded tv shows just for fun.
Next week it's of to Scotland again. Will try the pizza again to see if it improved :)
